Texting and Voicemail

Voicemail is usually done at the tail end of a call and not usually planned. There are times when you want to leave a message but 140 characters (SMS msg) is just not enough to express yourself. You could always send an email but you want to make sure they see this right away.

Another scenario: You have a group of people you are expecting to show up for an event. You know you are going to be late and you want to make sure everyone meets you someplace else.

PINGER.COM is a new tool that can help. With it, you can send a voicemail to any number of phone numbers. The phones receive and SMS msg with a phone number to call for the actual voice message. They also have PINGERCAST's. This lets you send a message to a larger number of people, fans, followers, employees, etc. Send voice rich messages to many people at one time.
